Background
In February 2020 (published August 2020), Corum BAAF, NAFP and The Fostering Network published the Foster Carer Medical report. The report identified a number of key challenges.
Since it’s publication, the Covid-19 pandemic has further impacted and changed the course of NHS and health services across the country. GP services are under significant pressure to meet the health needs of the nation, further increasing the challenge to complete medical assessments in a consistent timescale, without delays.
